November 27, 2011 - Nice bottle, plenty of fruit, well structured wine, not jammy. Still very dark red, although slightly fading at the rim. Vanilla and red cherries on the nose. Quite spicey in the mouth, soft, well integrated tannins, medium to long finish.

September 3, 2011 - Seems to be in a drinking window (last one perhaps?). Very dark in the glass. Black fruit, oak and leather. Smooth but very quick finish. Nice PQR.

April 8, 2011 - Too dark in the restaurant to see the color, but dark fruit and some leather on the nose; similar palate with fine, integrated tannins. No sense waiting any longer on this since it's drinking beautifully now.

November 17, 2010 - Dark crimson in color. Raspberries, plum, and leather nose. Some dark fruit and cherries? Smooth tannins with a medium finish. Enjoyed this even better on the second night.

November 2009 (link)(Bodega Colomé Amalaya) The name means "wait for a miracle." A blend of 55% Malbec, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah, 5% Bonarda, and 5% Tannat, this is the only Bodega Colomé label that uses some purchased fruit from Cafayate, along with estate grapes from Colomé and El Arenal. Dark ruby with a pink rim, it features high-toned aromas of spicy plum and black cherry, along with meat, bacon, and black and white pepper. Juicy fruit and oak tannins emerge with the pepper on the palate, followed by a spicy finish. Terroir: Colomé
