April 14, 2017 - good deep colour.
intriguing fragrance, delicate but with blue florals and a little tobacco leaf
elegant and refined but with excellent flavour intensity. good structure, reasonable acid and tannins, slips down very smoothly. flavours very much still fruit-driven with a cedary hint. nice.

August 22, 2004 - Colour is holding up well for a 12yr old. Black, blood red with a fading, slightly browning rim. Subtle nose, with some pepper notes. Bit more omph in the palate, with spicy fruit welding nicely with some reasonably fine tannins. Good length. Certainly a mature wine in every sense so don't expect gob smacking fruit but a good example of nicely aged Bendigo cabernet.
