August 22, 2004 - Light blood red, shows good 'middle of the road' cabernet hue. Nice nose, subtle yet has some ok herbal and sweet blackberry lift. Good mouthfeel, strictly medium bodied. 6 years in the bottle may have seen the wine lose some of of the raw edge of youth (based on my faint memories from previous tastes of the same vintage over the years). Nice ribena and more sweet berry fruit, not sweet in a Barossa 2002 sense - much more pleasant IMHO. Lightish fruit finish (but good spicy tannins) pand I'm not convinced it has too many years ahead. Right now a better drink than the 1992
