  August 7, 2013 - Dark purple color with pink rim. The nose is packed with ripe plum, dark cherry, blackberry, and vanilla. The palate follows the nose with ripe, dark fruit, vanilla, and black tea. Structurally, this wine is full bodied with good acidity and a tannic bite at the end. The finish has good length and fruit with the tannins kicking in at the end. Overall, this was a bigger wine than the Anthill Farms Cabernet Sauvignon, but it had ripe fruit and solid tannins that melded well with the grilled flank steak marinated in a soy based sauce.
