Community Tasting Notes 3

    July 2, 2009 - Nose: lemon/lime/grapefruit & passion fruit.

Taste: same fruit on the nose, green, balanced, good body.

A notch below best NZ SBs (e.g., Kim Crawford, etc.), which is a notch below the great Pouilly Fume & Sancerres.

    June 19, 2009 - Light straw.
Bright nose of crisp apples and freshly mown hay. A nice note of papaya, with a touch of lychee.
Crisp, with nice acidity. A bit thin and watery. Good white pepper finish.
    Decent wine, but not memorable.

April 3, 2009 - Smooth, pleasing, very little typical SB tartness / grassiness. A crowd pleaser but perhaps not for SB purists.
