June 5, 2011 - Still showing good tannins, decanted for 1 hour prior to first sip, served in wide open neck glasses. Rich dark and bags of fruit with dark chocolate and jam flavours; a little rustic. This is my fourth and last of this vintage, would purchase again. Goes really nice with Italian food, had this bottle with a three course Italian menu.

April 5, 2011 - Decanted 30 minutes. Nose of cherry, raspberry, tobacco, and earth. Great fruit on the front palate, but kind of disappears on the mid palate and finish is bo-ring. For $20, this was a big disappointment.
