February 14, 2011 - Dark purple ruby color of medium intensity, nose of dark cherries, earth and wood. Nice acid to cut through Italian fare. Nice simple wine with medium body and bright fruit.

December 26, 2010 - bwillia has it right - very tart cherry with a bright acidity. Popped & poured - but an hour at least is needed to smooth it out. I like this wine more & more every time I open one.

November 3, 2010 - Positively dominated by very tart cherry fruit and bright acidity on the palate. The nose is quite expressive and pleasant.

July 23, 2010 - Popped and poured. Closed at first, but opened nicely over the next couple of hours. Lots of cherries on the nose and palate. Medium body, short finish. Classic Barbera. Tasted the "Baby" at a Hi-Times wine tasting, but this is definitely better. Great QPR at the $10 price I paid.
