December 9, 2011 - Interesting how tasting a month later, in a very different situation, with better bottle temperature and a larger, more tapered glass yielded a more favourable note and much higher score. Or perhaps I am simply inconsistent in my tastings? Hmm... Here is the note anyway. Undeniably beautiful golden hue with an almost orange glow, deliciously fragrant nose of peaches and cream with background notes of marzipan and vanilla. Lovely weight, soft, almost oily on the mid-palate and gorgeous notes of toffee, creme caramel and lychee, rounded off elegantly by just the right level of acidity. Very good.

November 12, 2011 - Attractive golden colour, aromas of toffee, cream, caramel and burnt sugar, leading to peaches, apricots, some pear and apple on the mid-palate, and a lively length with some pleasurable acidity. Generally good, but not exceptional or memorable, especially at the rather steep UK price.

September 13, 2011 - Good quality California Chardonnay with fruit, butter and oak.

November 20, 2010 - This is a very straightforward version of Carneros Chard. Nice balance of butter, oak and fruit. Apple and pear are the most predominate.
