Community Tasting Notes 2

September 7, 2020 - High fill. Cork in good condition. Almost undrinkable. Initially promising, with very faint flavours of cranberry and forest floor. However, the mid-palate and finish are unpleasantly sour. Tannin is non-existent. Now that the flavour and tannin have faded away, there is nothing to balance the acidity, which now seems extremely harsh. Surprisingly, it improved with time in the fridge: on day 3, the acidity didn't seem so harsh, and it was drinkable with chili.
