  December 10, 2010 - COLOR: Light garnet
  NOTE: Ripe, jammy red/black fruit nose with some heat, very much like a Zin or a light-bodied port. Mouth is solid black and red fruits, some strawberry jam, tobacco, good viscosity. Finish has picked up some bitterness which I don't care for in this wine. Still, it has all I need to enjoy a few slices of pizza!

  December 1, 2010 - Smooth and jammy. This is a gulp-able wine. We drank it without food and enjoyed every gulp.

  November 7, 2009 - Can't put my finger on this wine. It was good, just nothing special. Feel there are better wines at this price point. The fruit was powerful, but seemed too one dimensional for me.

  August 9, 2009 - Tasted again in Spiegelau bordeaux glass, based on notes from 2005 vintage. Nose of big, dark fruits, dust, and eucalyptus. Very inky garnet/purple/black in color. Fruit-forward tastes of black cherry and blackberries with good oak. Very chewy and yummy!
  
  This wine is very similar in profile to our 2008 vintage cabernet sauv and merlots. Yay!
