November 10, 2020 - Still delicious at 14. No browning. Pie spice and raspberry nose. Palate of cola, spices, darker fruits. Long smooth finish.

September 11, 2018 - Enjoyed this after six years of careful cellaring...I purchased it in 2012. Was concerned that I had waited too long but the wine was in great shape! Fruit was smooth and almost youthful. Great soft cherry cola. Wish I had another bottle or two.

March 4, 2017 - Coravin poured a small glass to check this out as I wanted to take it to dinner tonight at Bouchon but didn't want to take in a bad bottle. It seemed a bit hot and a tad stewed/ripe. After some air time it simmered down a bit but still lacked the elegance I was hoping for. Served the taster glass to the wife and she guessed Cali Grenache which I couldn't blame her at all for. In the end we are leaving it at home to drink some other more casual weekday and bringing an 08 from another Cali producer. Update: decided to open let air and drink the rest of the bottle tonight. While still a bit riper than my ideal it was quite enjoyable. The fruit had mellowed with age and it seemed to be transitioning to secondary flavors. Solid stuff.

July 28, 2013 - need to cool to 50 degrees, lots of nice subtle flavors of cherry, anise, mild vanilla, mellow light to medium body
