January 12, 2015 - Decanted for 2 hours, improved the overall experience. Still has some life, but I wouldn't wait much longer.

June 21, 2014 - Shared with pat at selkik manor. A lot of wine for the money. Jay miller got it right. Dark purple color. Red fruit, spice, earth. Some tannic heat. This wine can go further.

May 13, 2014 - Similar result to previous tasting. A bit astringent on the opening, but mellowed out relatively quickly. Not overly complex, but good mouthfeel. Probably has a bit more age left in it.

April 2009 (link)(Bodega Norton Malbec Reserva, Mendoza) Thirty-year-old vines give depth to this bright, juicy, medium-bodied wine. Notes of dark cherry, plum, fig, raisin, black and Orange Pekoe tea leaf, mint, and vanilla are well integrated with oak tannins and bright acidity. The finish is long, fruity, and mouthwatering. Tasting College Kid Wines with Jake and Amir from College Humor, Episode #649, 3/30/2009 (link) (86-87) points(Bodegas Norton Reserve Malbec) #2; COLOR-dark; NOSE-lots of black currant; hints of cedar box and shaved high end dark chocolate on the back-end; classic Malbec nose; TASTE-tannin and dry; black currant; some woodiness; a little sour blueberry play; starts w/ a lot of flavor, but dips on the mid-palate and then the bitter tannins on the back-end (should last 3-5 years); a nice wine, but a little overrated by Spectator; WS-90; GV-86/87
