June 7, 2019 - At a tasting, red, 25 years old or older. Opened at the tasting, no decant. Dark garnet, almost no signs of age. Lots of dark fruit on the nose. Palate was smooth and resolved, good complexity. Plenty of fruit left, some spice and forest floor. Long finish. Most guessed new world - the tasting was Cab heavy, some nice Bordeaux’s preceded this. It prompted a discussion of how the big, fruity California wines age so differently than the ones from Bordeaux. Good stuff.

November 26, 2017 - Delicious, classic Napa Cab which is drinking beautifully. It is still quite structured and appears to have many years of aging potential. According to WS, 2002 was a super vintage in Napa and this would certainly be a case in point.
