June 3, 2012 - Appearance: Bright and clear, medium (-) intensity gold colour, with watery rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, medium (-) intensity and youthful aromas of lemon, grapefruit, apple, butter, cream, oak and lees.
Palate: Dry, with medium and refreshing acidity, medium in alcohol level. This wine has a medium (-) body with medium intensity flavors of lime, green apple, grapefruit, brioche and bread. The finish is medium in length.
Conclusion: Good quality Burgundy village white. Though a bit weak on the nose, it did show fair complexity. The palate is more reasonably intense, with fair complexity. The wine is in good balance with also a reasonable length. Ready to drink now and can benefit from further ageing of another 2-3 years. -
