The dark cherry fruits and supple tannins are well integrated and there is still some nice spice, moss and cola notes noticeable in the approach and light spice and vanilla on the finish. Drinking great right now but still some zing left.

March 24, 2009 - Dark red purple and opaque. Full bodied with gritty tannins and overextracted super ripe flavors. Would never pick this out as a pinot noir in a blind tasting. Not very enjoyable, and definitely not my kind of wine, though probably good with jerked BBQ'd short ribs or something else that took your mind off of the wine.

September 9, 2006 - For big fat pinot fans, probably will mellow in a year or so, but now spicey, cinnamon, very distinct cherry fruit, with some bold tannins throughout. GReat with barbeque chicken.
