It rounds out after a decant and perhaps two hours, and it is actually very lovely, but there is no excess here, it is not a viscerally gratifying wine. It shows like distilled rock and there is also some wax and there are hints of fruit but the essence here is one of stone.

  May 10, 2011 - A very honeyed nose of minerals and flowers emit from the nose, showing good purity. The palate is compact, with tart acids underlying mostly lemon fruits. While this is relatively racy, there is also a delicate texture on the mid palate that becomes more evident with time in the glass. Very complete and classy. Enjoyable.
