D'une couleur grenat à reflets un peu orangés, son bouquet a de l'ampleur et n'est pas sans évoquer les Saint-Émilion d'un certain âge en raison de ses arômes de fruits cuits et de cuir. Nettement plus que moyennement corsé, un peu chaud sur la langue en raison de sa teneur en alcool (14 %), ne manquant pas de chair, ses saveurs de fruits cuits dominent bien qu'il n'ait rien de déclinant. Vin de Merlot (51 %) et de Cabernet Sauvignon (49 %), il a bénéficié d'un élevage de 17 mois en fûts. Très bien fait.

March 10, 2009 - Beautiful bouquet -- hits the nose, almost a shame to drink the wine, just sniff it. Dark red. This wine is mostly merlot (51%) and the balance Cabernet Sauvignon. It is very fruit forward and the tanins are a bit too prominent for my taste. At 14% alcohol it is not a "fruit bomb" but the fruit is more prominent than a more classic left bank bordeaux style. the wine is nicely made, it is just not to my taste.
