November 7, 2008 - Binny's California Night (Binny's, Highland Park IL): nose: rich nose filled with lots of red fruits, red currants, cranberries, roasted herbs, and some cassis tones
taste: good medium feel that has nice density with a bit of tartness bringing about red fruits, red currants, cranberries, and cassis tones. Very well balanced considering that some 03 cabs can run away on the stewed fruits aspect
overall: Good firm tannins give this a nice spine and base. Shows off the vintage, but does so in a good way that provides balance with a nice medium body feel and medium weight on teh palate
