    July 11, 2012 - Dallas 2nd Wednesday Group - July 2012 (Caravelle, Richardson, TX): WIML91

Tasted non blind at a wine dinner. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about an hour.

Yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of heavy diesel aromas, creme, flowers and spices. Flavors of lemon, pear and minerals. Medium acidity, medium body. Drink now.

October 23, 2011 - Popped and pour. Cork intact. Color golden. nose shows great fruit esp after warmed some. Palate showing bone dry acidity and this one had a fairly light mouthfeel and lacked the oily texture viscosity that sometimes comes with these wines. Really lovely but no doubt this will hold for many years. Thanks Jim!
