December 23, 2017 - This was a treat that my brother in law offered up from his closet stash. The cork had softened over the years and broke into 3 pieces while opening giving us all an anxious pause. Fortunately the wine was still in good shape. A nicely aged Napa cab. Probably a couple years past its prime but quite enjoyable anyway. Not much fruit on the nose. But a really smooth wine with a pleasing note of cedar through front and mid palate.
