June 22, 2009 - Musk, spice and slate on the nose. Off-dry on the palate, there is good length and this is drinking nicely already.

June 17, 2009 - Nice friendly style. Friendly kabinett fruits. Nothing wrong here but it doesn't say much (so to speak).

    June 9, 2009 - **
    Color: Pale Gold
Nose: Clean and sweet, almost like canned fruit
Palate: Peaches and apricots with a hint of minerals - but just in the background. This wine was smooth and very clean tasting, with a satiney finish.
    Perfect for a warm night.

Rockss and Fruit

  • By Lyle Fass

(Knebel Winninger Hamm Kabinett Feinherb) This had lovely and deep aromas of pineapple, blood orange and slatey minerality. The palate was rich yet crisp and racy with a long finish. There was little or no noticeable residual sugar. Beautiful almost gummy texture and a long fruit-soaked finish.
