September 7, 2017 - Lovely bottle. Just on the right side of drinking in 2017 but no longer. Notes of deep plum, cherry and a touch of cedar with a supportive foundation that opened up generously over several hours.

May 29, 2012 - This continues to improve and is showing nicely now. Earthy red berry nose is a lot of fun and not typically found at this price; very italian; smooth red berry and baking spice, with a chocolately texture and well balanced medium finish.

August 23, 2011 - Earthy barnyard and tabacco nose, dark red color, leather, tabacco and cherry palate with smooth tannins, a solid acid structure and medium finish. Seriously good QPR here! This is doing well in the bottle, picking up 2 points since my last tasting 4 months ago. I think I was conservative the first time around.

April 24, 2011 - Good qpr. This is already showing well with earth and oak on the nose, integrated tannins, and balanced acidity. Well made given the price. A perfect house Super Tuscan. I'm using it for my wedding this summer!
