October 24, 2015 - J'ai eu peur en constatant l'année (2006) mais après 2 heures en carafe, il s'est révélé excellent. Pas une splendeur mais fort honnête pour un vin payé $21 il y a 5 ans.

February 1, 2014 - Checked out the cork. Was still wet. Liked the wine but am still going to report the tasting as neutral. Still has hints of cedar and raspberry/blackberry. Good wine in spite of what they say about the the drinking years. Sometimes you are psychologically affected based on what is reported on the drinkability. After drinking this wine which was well preserved in my cellar, I would disagree with the experts who have frankly given California wines like this one a bad rap. I have 4 more bottles of this vintage to go and I will report on them one way or the other....... We will see....
