January 21, 2024 - Well rounded and drinkable wine. Very approachable with plum, cassis and a hint of chocolate. Good structure. Drinking very well.

September 21, 2023 - In memoriam Bordeaux tasting for Piet Kuiper (@ RvD): Beautiful and mature bouquet with autumn impressions and tobacco. On the palate the same impressions, a friendly and juicy wine with round and friendly acidity and soft tannin. Fully mature.

July 7, 2022 - 2022 TerClim Conference, Bordeaux; 7/4/2022-7/8/2022 (Bordeaux, France): Intense ruby. Red and black plum. Cassis, Davidsons plum, pomegranate. Cedar, touch of sweet spice, caramel. Touch of earth. Fresh acid, fine smooth tannins, medium bodied.

November 1, 2016 - 2nd label, uneven year - that said, there are some occasional interesting notes here. On the nose, some barnyard funk and cherry initially mellows out after 30 min to a bit cleaner fruit. Never wows on the palate, oscillating from dull to traces of elegance, traces of fruit but never much. Ok overall if you have it with food. But for the price in SG, there should be more enjoyable juice out there.

July 23, 2016 - During a merchant tasting. Light ruby. Discrete nose of Medoc aromas with cedar and barnyard aromas. Very light and watery, not much more body than in a Burgundy Village level wine. Like half a bottle of Bordeaux with half a bottle of water blended. Meh!
