June 4, 2004 - Napa-Noma Trip: 90% Zinfandel and 10% Petite Sirah. Lovely nose of toasty, cedary oak, butter, American oak, vanilla, and blackberry liqueur. Medium-bodied, sweet attack with a touch of dry tar and rose petals late. Not bad. A bit metallic and flat.
