November 17, 2005 - Solid berry nose, with a "dirty leather" texture, in a good way. On the palatte, smooth fruit on the tip, an (overly) tannic back, above average acidic quality that ends with a moderate finish. Was nice with a heavy meat sauce dish, and maybe for you to. Not the top of the line, but a nice choice for under 20 (which can be difficult today).
