March 14, 2022 - Really well balanced Cabernet. Raspberry, plum, chocolate, graphite and licorice on the palate with a slightly sweet finish. Silky, smooth tannins, medium bodied with a touch of acidity and a medium finish. I expected a longer finish and the sweetness was a surprise but all in all this was a pretty exceptional bottle.

November 5, 2021 - this is a phenomenal wine. complex, nice fruit but not overpowering, approachable tannins, nice acidity, incredibly long finish, and great earth tones. It is a super wine. Wait 5 years, though, and it will be better. 2026 onward. 97 pts

June 12, 2020 - 100% Beckstoffer cab. 15.2% ABV. I let it breathe for 2.5 hrs. Drank over 1.5. I saw a review that note that this is a sweet, lush and dense wine, with a creamy texture. That's spot on. Muted acidity. Glad I picked up this wine.

June 17, 2018 - Father's day treat for me with fillet mignon dinner. Graphite, cedar and smoky aromas. Licorice, dark chocolate flavors with a minty menthol explosion half way through the 60+ second finish. Black licorice lingers minutes later. My first Beckstoffer. Pretty awesome wine.
