May 11, 2020 - Opened with lamb shank
The fruit remains very compressed in tannins. Frankly, a bambino. I know it will open later. As opposed to notes I read here, I would suggest another few years as the color and flavor say not yet ready. Great vintage

November 23, 2018 - Drinking well out of the bottle. Nice complexity. Very enjoyable. Lovely intensity for 12.5% alcohol.

March 25, 2017 - 4th Saturday Group brown bagger (R&D's): From magnum. Notes of dark fruit and tobacco with an herbal undertone. Red fruit and earth on the palate. Nice.

July 16, 2016 - Very lean on opening. Requires decanting to put on weight. Lovely delicacy and mineral. Enjoyable.

December 24, 2015 - Pulled from 13C cellar (stored since 2005) and sat at room temperature for 15 hours. Pleasant raspberry bouquet on opening that suggested this could be good. However, palate of thin red fruit suggested this was past peak - but still not bad. Medium body medium tannins on the finish. I expect a continued slow decline so drink up now if you have any left.
