December 6, 2013 - this is a delicious wine - much more body that a typical pinot. i really enjoyed this!

November 23, 2013 - Lighter cherry notes, smooth, more subtle, fruit integrated and more moderate. This is drinking very well now. Suggest one hour decant. Drink 2013-2014, maybe 2015. At some point the fruit is going to drop off and leave an even lighter wine. Enjoyed at Butterfly in SF - Vietnamese.

December 22, 2012 - Felt like too much fruit this time with a bit more alcoholic heat, but still a great bottle. Wish I had more.

April 19, 2012 - I miss the Lynmar lineup. I used to be a club member there, wonderful wines but a bit pricey. This pinot was lean and sexy as most Lynmar wines are. There was cranberry, mineral, and baking spices in the nose. In the the mouth, nice acid with red fruit and a lean and sexy finish. Great dish for Thanksgiving as I see this would go excellent with Turkey and Cranberry sauce. :-)

(Lynmar Estate Pinot Noir Hawk Hill Vineyard) Barrel sample - intriguing tobacco, red and black fruit nose; rich, concentrated, ripe red fruit with some oak spice; medium-plus finish 90-92 pts. (50/50 Dijon 115 and Pommard 4)
