January 7, 2016 - Interesting to taste this wine after exactly six years at the same place, Yiannis' home, for the same occasion, Yiannis' name-day.
Very different this time, quite evolved, probably at peak, with a wonderful nose very much like a left-bank Bordeaux which saddly very quickly changed completely reavealing more heavy olive-like aromas in the glass.
Impeccable on the palate, medium bodied, elegant and savoury with oak nicely integrated and generally very Bordeaux-like this time.
If nose remained in the glass as it was initially, the wine would be a 93-94.

January 6, 2016 - Unlike the previous bottle, this was quite evolved and open for business. Dark garnet, Ripe nose of olive, dark cherries, dark berries and hints of cedar. Medium to full-bodied with soft tannins, somewhat stewed fruit, elegance and balance. Obviously better on the palate than on the nose. Long aftertaste.

November 30, 2013 - I remember going crazy about this wine when I first tasted it at a wine show, about 5 years ago. Then I drank it at home almost 4 years ago, and I liked it a lot without getting so excited as the first time. This was my third experience, and a rather disappointing one. I hope the wine is undergoing a muted phase, because otherwise there was no obvious defect here except the fact that it was almost totally shut down. After 2 hours in the decanter and continuous swirling in my "breathing" Eisch glass, it only started to reveal restrained aromas of mostly red cherry and berry fruit alongside some herbs and vanilla. On the palate it was quite elegant with firm tannins, but again the fruit was supressed and the aftertaste was medium. It paired nicely with my grilled steak due to its nice texture, but otherwise it had nothing to do with the wine as I remember it from my previous tastings. I will keep my other bottle for many years hoping that it will re-gain its once hedonistic character.

August 4, 2010 - Colour: dark ruby with violet reflections, clear sharp arc. Arome: powerful, jammy, black berries, spices, smoke. Taste: black berries, cherry, dark chocolate, good acidity, tannins. Still young powerful wine. Lay to cellar for 4-5 years. 90 points now, but after some years it have potential to develop up to much more. One of my favourites.
