January 17, 2015 - Opened about 2 hr before dinner, along with a 2004 Brunello. Was concerned that it might be over the hill. Quick taste allayed that fear. Flowery nose, with strong violet accent. Taste followed suit, like a mouth full of crushed flowers. Slight hint of tar. Tannins invisible, with a little acid backbone. Served with ribeye roast. It was the hit of the evening. For an entry-level Barolo, I was impressed. Probably would hold for another few years, but it was drinking perfectly now.

August 19, 2011 - Very nice Barolo. Full flavored, but not overpowering. Smooth with soft tannins. Only opened for about 30 minutes, could have used a full hour to let the wine develop properly

April 6, 2010 - The wine looks Brick colored.
The legs are Medium.
It smells like and Prune.
It tastes like Fig, and Prune.
The body is Medium.
The wine is textured Smooth.
The wine finishes Short. -

July 19, 2009 - Full Barolo experience for $20. Doesn't have the depth or longevity of high end Barolo, but has nice fruit and tannins.
