January 25, 2011 - Red fruit on the nose and a good, deep purple colour. You'd expect this to be more tawny at this stage in the day but it just about holds it together. Quite well balanced and the oak is now tempered. I can't escape the feeling that this wine has pretensions of grandeur; that said, it is quite a pleasant drink and is improved with food. Nothing too special but a very drinkable wine nonetheless. Just a tad over the hill, so drink up and, at this stage, don't think that 'grand reserva' makes it something special.

January 19, 2010 - Lots of red fruit on the nose, rasberry and red cherry, a lot more fruit than I expected considering its relative age. On the palate at first is rather thin with more red fruit, opened up after an hour of decanting but found it overall disappointing seems to have a lack of structure.

November 14, 2009 - Purple coloured, fruity aroma with a hint of pencil shavings. Strong raspbery fruit flavour, smooth with a medium finish.

May 16, 2009 - Drank without decanting, A smouldering dark purple with an orange tint on the rim. Nose of cherries and raspberries. On the palate dry and puckering holding some good fruit too. Nice length on the finish, a pleasant wine, well balanced and very fruit forward. a good value everyday wine, i have drank far worse wines double the price (cost £5.00).

May 15, 2009 - Visually very good but disappointing for a gran reserva
