  April 2, 2022 - This wine is singing at this stage of its development. When I bought this wine, I felt that it would age well, but i did not intend to age it until 14 1/2 years after the harvest. The aromas include black pepper, herbs, cranberry, and cherry. The dusty tannins are still there, but they have softened considerably. I wish that I had more of this wonderful wine.

  January 23, 2012 - Thin, tannic, high in alcohol. Tried with ham, blue cheese, quail's eggs, yet barely touched my wine. A disappointment not to be repeated.
  Petillance after an hour still crowds out the early flavours, and the bitterness of the tannins remains.
  The wine looks Rosy colored. The legs are Medium. The body is Light/Medium. The wine has Linear texture. The wine finishes Short.

  April 14, 2011 - Wine Education Service - Unusual Grapes (South Hampstead High School): Very, very light with quite a lot of age.
  Smoky, peppery, no fruit, a pleasant nose.
  Fruit in an ash tray, white pepper, very soft, a little flat, quite short.

  January 19, 2011 - Opened beautifully with enough time. Herbal and vegetal and green in all the right places, lacing the fantastic fruit with a piney minerality. Just delicious.
