February 18, 2009 - Dark as night, with classis petit verdot bouquet, dark dark fruits with a touch of spice. A pretty big wine for the modest price ($20), with dark dusty, not to sweet fruits leading to a somewhat tannic finish. Stuffing to last several more years. This wine presents a very good way to try a varietally-correct petit verdot at a reasonable price.
