Community Tasting Notes 4

  • Pancreatitis Likes this wine: 91 points

February 6, 2016 - Lovely and complex with prominent violets, bacon fat, cherry fruit. Very fine powder tannins. Abundant length and fans out on the finish.
Still in early adolescence, needs more time.

November 1, 2013 - Good value 1er cru for $20. Takes about an hour or so to soften up a bit but shows some nice fruit with a rustic edge.

  • Eubulos Does not like this wine: 84 points

October 10, 2013 - No, flat, no expression, boring.

June 20, 2011 - Pinot Days (San Francisco): Fresher red fruits, good structure, nice balanced moderate length finish.
