October 12, 2010 - Dark garnet bowl of plums with a nice floral nose. Medium body, nice structure. Great QPR. under $20 price point. Could have guessed Grenache if served blind. Solid drink em up.

January 20, 2010 - Wonderful fruit...right out of the gate. Tanins are subdued. A great sangio with lingering fruit that was delightful through the 3 hours of its enjoyment. 2010 as a end date to enjoy this wine is probably on the mark.

October 17, 2009 - Another great Stolpman bottle. The color is a medium-dark ruby red. The nose has plum, raspberry, toast, and a little vanilla. The palate is medium weight, a little darker than the nose, more on the plummy side, less on the raspberry. The structure is a little light, but there's enough to balance. I can't speak to whether this is typical sangio, I'm not a big fan of sangio and I don't drink a lot of it. It does have nice clean fruit, good balance, moderately long finish.

August 15, 2009 - Taste nothing like a Sangiovese. No acidity, no earthiness just gobs of fruit. One dimensional. Good tasting red wine though.

May 31, 2009 - A tasty bottle of wine, though not as good on the second day as the first...red fruits on the nose, more fruit and still more fruit on the palate , mediumish finish. I'm not particularly a sangiovese fan, but I dont know if i would have identified it as such if tasted blind
