  May 24, 2011 - Opened by Anwar as part of a 1999, 2002 and 2003 vertical. The most restrained of the 3 wines. Integrated tannins. 89 points.

  March 8, 2008 - The nose has a good dose of oak with some white cherries and bright red fruit. The palate is medium bodied with good acidity and some tannins still noticable. The palate shows minerals, a touch of leather, tart cherries, and earth. The finish is medium and rounds out a solid wine that i'd drink any day of the week. Oh yeah, lots of sediment so make sure to decant it off.

  February 8, 2006 - plenty of youthful zest, needed 30 minutes or so to open up, sweet red fruits, medium bodied, faint mineral notes, good balance but lacking concentration and length. Enjoyable.

  September 20, 2004 - Nice color and aroma. Soft, light zin. The wood flavors over power the berry a little. Taste mainly oak and vanilla. Is a nice underlying note of dark berry fruit. A pleasant drink.
