August 27, 2022 - Hanuman Cherry Pops: Poured out of magnum. Wow, this is incredibly well made. Reminded me of the 2017 I had recently. Comes across very Burgundian. Graceful and balanced on the palate. Incredibly fresh and still so young (even though the 05 we had came across way older on multiple occasions). Interesting.

January 16, 2022 - Dark golden hues. No aromas. Still fresh after 15 years. Bright lemon curd and lime citrus flavors, vanilla, honey infused dates, and a spritz of white pepper.

March 28, 2020 - Great tasting 13 yrs old Napa Chardonnay that tasted like a Gru Cru White Burgundy. Stony Hill makes long-lived chardonnay. This wine was purchased from the winery upon release. Over the years, moved five times over three states with one year in commercial unit storage. A really great wine! A shade more yellow than upon release, bone-dry, expressive fruit and a long finish. Last bottle of the case.

July 20, 2019 - Pale yellow with subtle nose of minerals. Palate started out slowly and was slightly rough. After a half hour or so it evolved into a beautiful bottle. Nice minerality with a hint of lemon and peach. Drank well with squid ink pasta with shrimp. Delicious , both the bottle and the dish. Reminded me of a stony Chablis.
