October 17, 2012 - Acker BYO (Domaine Wine Storage - Chicago, IL): To me, this continues to be drinking at its peak. Lovely beef broth, earth and red fruit on the palate. Perfume of dried leaves, roses and earth on the nose. Great stuff.

August 4, 2012 - Saturday Afternoon w/ the Claffee's (SoNo East Apartments - Chicago, IL): Another good bottle. This wasn't as good as the bottle I had the day before...much more acidic with less fruit and earth. With some air this took on more depth and character, but never really developed into the superstar Bourgogne we had yesterday.

August 4, 2012 - Friday Afternoon at Domaine (Domaine Wine Storage): A kick ass wine that's probably drinking close to its peak. Just lovely fresh floral notes with beautiful red fruit and undertones of smoked meat and mushrooms. A wonderful blend of fruit and earth - incredibly exciting wine.

August 3, 2012 - Another Friday afternoon at Domaine (Domaine Wine Storage, Chicago IL): nose: nice and aromatic nose of tart red fruits, red florals, fresh picked berries and some spice tones. Nice balance and complexity for the level as well as very good depth for a bourgogne.

taste: medium bodied with nice medium acidity. Balanced with very nice depth for the level along with tones of tart red fruits, red florals and spice tones.

overall: One of the best bourgognes I've had. This is a real pretty wine and has a good red fruit core to it.

May 12, 2012 - Chicago Disorderly Afternoon (Phil's House): A bit better than the last bottle I had. Found the mushroom tones on the nose and palate to be a bit more vibrant which I really enjoyed. The red fruit is still really pretty and is pure silk. A beautiful wine that is drinking at peak I would guess.
