April 27, 2014 - Mid straw, strong legs. Nose of beeswax, honey, saline, very mild fino almonds. Tastes nutty, floral, slightly bitter back note. Peachy fruit in the mid. Very complex and evolving. These oxidative notes add so much to this wine. Although I loved this when young for its floral vivacity, I think I care for its late middle aged love handles even more.

December 18, 2008 - Popped the cork 1 hour before dinner, leaving this at cellar temp (13C). On the nose immediate tropical notes and very floral. This filled the room and had me excited to drink. On the palate very strong lychee flavours, some mango and an interesting coconut note. Some others commented on the sweetness of the wine. I thought it balanced the fruit/sugar/acid nicely. The finish went on for over 30 seconds. Overall a delicious wine worthy of 92 points.
