November 2, 2021 - I was a tad concerned that this might be too “pruney” (if that’s a word), and was very pleasantly surprised at how fresh this is. Definitely some raisin-y notes, with garrigue, mushrooms, and a long finish. I’m sad this is the last bottle in our cellar (we went to a Solitude tasting about 13?years ago and bought a case—this was our last remaining bottle)

July 31, 2020 - decanted for 45 minutes and this beauty really opened up. Probably near the end of its life, but it's still a great drink!

January 13, 2020 - A big full fruity wine but no fruit bomb. Was hoping for more tertiary aromas and flavors.
Paired very well with a heavy sauce short rib preparation. -

En bouche, souple et assez fin, des cerises et des herbes.
Tannins fins et finale assez longue. -

June 9, 2018 - Drinking terrific now, good for a few more years, showing nicely integrated tannins, rich fruit and a marvelous finish. Table winner.
