October 2, 2009 - Just a suggestion of butter on the nose, along with apples and spice. Crisp, with just a little suggestion of heat. Very nice with chicken and pesto, equally good now just drinking.

May 31, 2009 - Vanilla and nutty notes on the nose blend nicely with apples and a hint of pineapple in the finish. The oak give this wine structure, and it has strong enough core that the fruit holds its own. Refreshing and interesting.

March 11, 2009 - Had a bottle of this a while ago that was quite impressive, and made for a nice introduction for a pinot gris newbie. This time around it was not as good but still not bad. It seemed hot on the finish. I have one more bottle left, so I may have to adjust the score upward.

December 4, 2008 - Cathedral Ridge Winery Holiday Celebration (The Governor Hotel, Portland, OR): Very crisp, with granny smith apples on the nose and palate. Some hazelnut on the finish that is surprising.
