  February 17, 2018 - garnet, brick/brown rim with some deposits. still young and energetic in mouth, dense ripe dark fruits, dark chocolate, and sweet herbals. rich and luscious. it's a baby Port. good to full body lovers.

  December 4, 2011 - Savoury fruit, baked plums and currants. Smoky, with notes of mocha. Big palate. Black fruits, dark bitter chocolate. Probably needs another year or two more to soften the few remaining rough edges.

  September 27, 2010 - Yum! Bags of nice goodies going on in this glass! Very aromatic and expressive nose - dark fruits, tar, pepper, toasted wood spice, violets. Quite savoury palate, meaty with a massive burst of black fruit through the mid palate on to a pretty long fruity finish. It's a big wine, very Douro, very nice. This is bar far my mouthful of the month for under a tenner.
