Community Tasting Notes 1

October 24, 2009 - Light transparent mahogany colour. Rich dried fruits, raisins and dark burnt caramel on the nose. Medium bodied with light acidity. Medium-sweet with oloroso-like flavours of dried fruits, marzipan, prunes, figs and coffee grounds. Not quite sweet enough to stand up to my almond and berry tart.
