April 29, 2016 - Bordeaux Wimps, Benoît Chamoux table (La Trompette, London): Pale straw. Sauvignon dominated — almost kiwi when opened at 9.30, but calmed down a bit by lunchtime. Calmer and more rounded. Clearly Sauvignon dominated but developing an attractive creaminess. Nice line and length. Surprisingly decent. There's enough here to hold one's interest. ****

March 10, 2016 - Surprisingly big wine, lots semillon on nose, touch of oak, fresher on palate than expected and improved as warmed slightly (ok, and as drank more!). Definitely not past it, but enjoy now rather than keep. Will decline soon

August 16, 2015 - Tan-yellow to the eye...coming to the end! Slightly oxidised, honey, pineapple aromas...definitely coming to the end but a good sip now. Creamy, vanilla, honey on the palate with the oxidisation a bit too pronounced. We are looking forward to trying more recent vintages. One of the most cost-effective and very good white Bordeaux. Our last bottle from a case. It has been a happy four years :-).

April 26, 2014 - Final bottle. Still a solid white Bordeaux, sturdy rather than refined, good flavour intensity with vegetal notes and oak, but lacks the ripe fruit that the previous bottle had. Fully mature, drink up. In retrospect, this was probably best between two and four years of age.

March 9, 2014 - Continues to show well, a solid white bordeaux of considerable class, an energetic blend of oak, minerals, fruit (lemon and peach) and vegetal notes; attractive bitters, good intensity and length.
