Community Tasting Notes 2

November 10, 2010 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #052; Italy: Barolo vs. Barbaresco (By RvD): Spicy bouquet with earthy impressions. Full bodied and a lot of fruits. Firm and youthful tannin and bitterness. Needs another 5+ years of cellaring.

April 9, 2010 - High expectation, but disappointed at first. Nice nose of roses, but very closed in the mouth, with a metallic aftertaste. A completely different wine one the second day, with nice plum fruit and some minerals and licorice. In other words, let it breathe a lot before drinking.
