April 22, 2024 - Decanted 2 hours. This wine has evolved nicely over the past 10 years since my last tasting. Notes of cassis, black raspberry, blueberry, leather and hint of spice. Tannins are soft and well integrated with long finish.

April 23, 2022 - Soft aromatics. Dark fruit flavors. Nice acidity. Fresh and lively. Flavors of dark blackberry, cassis, and kirsch. Finished by jammy fruit. Medium+ finish.

May 24, 2020 - Lovely wine, my last and best experience with 2006. Aromas of blueberry & blackberry leapt out of the decanter as it was being poured. Drank w/grilled prime strip steak after a 90 min decant. A ton of sediment in the bottle. Dark brick red color, with a much lighter brick red meniscus. Soft on the palate, medium bodied, flavorful, with some leather & eucalyptus notes and a very pleasing, lingering finish. Doesn't seem like this will get any better with further ageing, so drink up.

September 8, 2019 - Purple color. Flamboyant cassis and spice aromas. Warm entry. A huge core of ripe blackberry/cobbler, slate and an oak-spiced, dry finish. Outstanding. 94
