  July 31, 2010 - Intriguing bottle of wine. My first experience tasting a wine made with 100% Carignan. This was quite delicious, it tasted more mature than it's age (in a good way). And it also seemed like a wine of a higher pedigree. Nice roasted red fruits with spices, leather and some mild tobacco nuances. Good tannic structure, I would think this would cellar quite well. Was given high marks by the garage crew including a raised eyebrow and the nod of approval from Greenblanket.

  March 17, 2010 - What a great wine. Thick and fruity with a nice underlying layer of game. A mouthfull but never boring, fruity with nice integrated tannins. Lovely wine all together.

  January 20, 2009 - 13,50% alc., dichtes Purpurrot, von 100-jährigen Carignanreben, am Anfang etwas verschlossen, zarter Duft nach Kirschen und Gewürzen wie Rosmarin, am Gaumen Mon Chérie, konzentriert, dicht und füllig mit reifer Frucht, Tannine sind präsent, auch am nächsten Tag präsentiert sich der wein noch immer relativ verhalten, am Gaumen aber ein sehr starker Eindruck, zupackend und fokussiert, es tauchen auch ledrige und erdige Noten auf, langer, etwas bitterer Abgang; der Wein ist sehr gut und wird durch Lagerung wahrscheinlich noch zulegen, momentan beeindruckt er mich jedoch nicht so sehr, wie z. B. der Temporis 2001 aus selbem Haus.
