February 26, 2021 - From 375. Drank during a broad pinot phase, mostly California. This doesn't quite measure up to mid to high end Cal pinots. Good but a bit tart/acidic for my tastes. Not at all over the hill, but don't think it's getting any better.

October 11, 2020 - A bit inelegant? Sure. But personally I didn’t find this to be thin or short. Very earthy, and definitely showing the ferrous streak mentioned below, with plenty of pleasant black cherry fruit. Nicely open and in a good spot, though it can certainly go longer.

January 25, 2018 - PopnPour, tasted over 1 hr, from 375 mL
-minimal bricking
-reticent faded earthy dark fruit and an interesting citrus element
-med/med+ acidity gives a brisk edge to the similarly dark fruit iron and citrusy palate that is more expressive than the nose and accompanied by a pixy stix-like candied dried cherry aspect, med somewhat coarse tannins
-really quite decent with some burly NSG typicity, probably in a prime drinking window now but even in this format should have several years before significant decline -

August 21, 2017 - Similar to other $40-50/btl pinots. Perfectly good, light, fruity and a hair acidic. Nothing bad, but just not the great experience one hopes for.

November 15, 2015 - Day 1: Thin/short. Red fruit, iron, on the flat side. Decent acidity, a bit leaden. Worked with food but uninteresting and inelegant otherwise. Day 2: Really quite nice for a villages -- red fruit has filled in, finish smooth, light but a bit more body than previously, quite pretty, silky texture. Day 1 was an 86 but day 2 an 89 -- so the lesson is, (exceptionally for a burgundy) decant or wait a few more years.
