September 20, 2006 - This was a dissapointing bottle of wine. Groth has always been a favorite Cabernet of mine and I have tried other Merlot vintages that were quite good. This was light in color, almost see though. Fruit was minimal. OK with food but not really drinkable alone as a merlot should be.
